To ensure higher paying jobs, higher education is a must. Through studies conducted in 2002 North Star became aware of and began to support Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program (OLAP). This is a program provided by the State of Oklahoma for a 5-year scholarship for children of families making $50,000 or less and maintains a 2.5 grade point, have no legal trouble, and take certain courses.
